The Necessity of Grace

A Broadcast with R.C. Sproul

R.C. Sproul and former Muslim Abdul Saleeb continue their discussion on the points of conflict that exist between classical orthodox Christianity and Islam. Today we look at the Islamic view of salvation and how radically it differs from the Christian view. We learned previously that Islam and Christianity disagree on the doctrine of sin. Most muslims do not see sin as radically as Christians view sin. In a nutshell, Islam claims that salvation is earned by good works.

Our Aim

God calls His people to be transformed by the renewing of their minds. This transformation of thinking God’s thoughts after Him is a daily pursuit. To aid you in this, Renewing Your Mind broadcasts a daily message and related resource offer that exposits the glories of God revealed in the Bible against the backdrop of culture, philosophy, apologetics, ethics, and church history. Think of it as bridging the gap between Sunday school and seminary—equipping you for the Christian life.
